Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Parlo (the “Service”), operated by NXGN Tools (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Parlo is a workplace speaking coach that helps you practice work talks (such as updates, presentations, and pitches), plan with speaking structures, record practice sessions, and receive feedback on delivery and structure coverage.

Features may change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice when practical.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Provide accurate information when you sign up. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Paid plans may include a free trial (for example, a 7-day trial on yearly plans when offered). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews at the then-current plan price.

Fees are billed in advance for each billing period. Prices may change; we will provide notice before changes apply to your next renewal when required.

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues through the end of the paid period already purchased, unless otherwise stated in the product.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious code or infringe others’ rights
• Share account access in a way that violates these Terms or plan limits
• Misrepresent feedback or practice recordings as legal, medical, or professional advice

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit, including practice recordings, notes, and prompts (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for having the rights to submit Your Content and for not including sensitive information you do not want processed.

Coaching metrics and feedback are informational tools to help you practice. They are not a guarantee of workplace outcomes, promotions, interview results, or professional certification.

The Service, including software, branding, mascot artwork, and documentation, is owned by NXGN Tools or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NXGN Tools WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
